Now that New Years has been and gone, the odds are so are those New Years resolutions.. Most of you will all be back at work by now, so if you have slacked off a little or if your new to this whole exercise thing and are wanting to start, this is the month to do it!

Try and schedule in your exercise sessions and create a habit

To be successful and achieve those goals that we all know won’t achieve themselves you need to create a new habit, this is achieved by doing something consistently approximately 21 times. Once your exercise becomes habit, your exercise sessions will become just like brushing your teeth or checking your grindr…  an important and scheduled part of your day! HA

Plan ahead and create a healthy routine

With being back at work it also gives you an opportunity to plan your meals, getting you into a good healthy routine. Plan ahead! plan what you will have for dinner and lunch throughout the week, and make sure you have plenty of healthy snack options available for when you get those spontaneous hunger cravings. These snacks need to be #guiltfree something that will fill you up without taking on those unnecessary extra calories. By being more organised you won’t default to getting takeaways because you “have nothing in the house for tea”.
