Harry Styles has been praised by fans after releasing what’s being described as a bisexual anthem on National Coming Out Day.

The 25-year-old singer, songwriter, and actor finally released the video for his new song ‘Lights Up’ following months of sneak-peaks and teasers.

Officially released on National Coming Out Day, the track features Styles singing about “step[ping]into the light” of a new identity and “never going back,” lyrics that many fans associate sexuality and are hailing the track as another “bisexual anthem.”

Despite fan speculation, Styles has refused to label his sexuality, neither describing himself as straight, bi or otherwise, however, the former One Directioner has flown Pride, bi and trans flags during recent tours.

“I want to make people feel comfortable being whatever they want to be,” Styles said when questioned about the flags in an interview with Rolling Stone in August 2019.

“I can’t claim that I know what it’s like, because I don’t. So I’m not trying to say, ‘I understand what it’s like.’ I’m just trying to make people feel included and seen.”
