“We were coworkers, really. We never socialized outside of work. Respectful, professional relationship.

“He was so great with me, he was never disrespectful to me, so that’s my personal experience, that’s the only thing I feel I have the right to talk about.

“I haven’t heard from him and I don’t even know how to reach him,” Wright added.

“Kevin and I knew each other between action and cut, and in between setups where we would giggle. I didn’t really … I didn’t know the man. I knew the incredible craftsman that he is.”

As for Netflix’s decision to sever ties with Spacey following the allegations, Wright said she didn’t know how to comment on that.

“The shock was so intense all over the nation for many reasons; many stories, many people. I think that everybody felt that it was respectful to back off.”

“House of Cards” restructured its sixth and final season to focus on Claire Underwood, played by Wright. Claire takes over the presidency after her husband Frank Underwood resigns.

Spacey faced an onslaught of sexual misconduct allegations after actor Anthony Rapp claimed Spacey tried to seduce him when he was 14 years old.

Eight people from the “House of Cards” set also came forward with sexual harassment allegations against Spacey.
