Are These The Faces of Our Newest Gay Reality Stars?

Self-proclaimed as Sydney’s hottest new stylist, Paul Versace and high-end boutique PR agency owner Billy Daniels are two of the new featured characters in the upcoming tv reality show Made in Bondi.

From the producers of Made in Chelsea, Seven have released a first look overnight of the series which will follow the real lives and loves of young Sydney socialites living in the affluent Eastern Suburbs of Sydney and the most famous beach in the world – Bondi.

Joining a jet-setting model, a hospitality heir and an upcoming jewellery designer, Versace and Daniels appear to be the only LGBTQ+ characters in the show, although look like they will command a lot of attention. In the opening scene of the Made in Bondi Trailer (Below), Versace drives along the Bondi foreshore and then steps out of a McLaren 675LT Clubsport.

The 31-year-old Versace only came out two years ago and has been on a massive journey to find himself and figure out his type in men, which he said is “good looking”.

Taking us inside a world of opulence, romance and endless drama, Versace is set to expose parts of the Eastern Suburbs gay world to the audience following along with himself and his BFF and Jewellery company CEO Emma Pillemer.

In the media release from Seven, Versace admitted he falls hard and fast and had his heart broken last year.

But he said he is not slowing down any time soon – in fact, he wants to find a husband this year.

Billy Daniels the 32-year-old is the owner of a high-end boutique PR agency called Billy etc. His company’s focus is on fashion, beauty and hospitality, a perfect mix for such a show.

Great friends with Paul Versace they share a love of the finer things in life. Daniels
loves gorgeous clothes, the benefit of Botox and getting involved in friends’ lives.

In a show that looks to have plenty of drama, Daniels said he can be very righteous and will stand by his truth to the bitter end.

Versace and Daniels join 10 other feature cast members that include models, Managers, Influencers, Athletes and even a Distillery Apprentice, go figure.

Made in Chelsea’s Tristan Phipps and Miles Nazaire will also make special guest appearances in the series.

Made in Bondi is a co-commission between Seven Network Australia and Channel 4 UK and will air on Channel 7 and 7plus in August and coming soon to E4 and to stream on Channel 4 in the UK.
