Dust off your maps, pack your brightest threads, and crank up the music because Bonds and the Northern Territory are inviting you on the ultimate Pride adventure.

This year’s Australian Pride campaign ditches the cityscapes and takes us on a vibrant road trip through the heart of Australia, showcasing the LGBTQIA+ community like never before.

Forget polished skyscrapers and bustling parades; get ready for the rugged beauty of the Red Centre, where drag queens dance with the sunset and ancient wisdom meets self-expression in a dazzling kaleidoscope of colour.

Bonds brings us face-to-face with this unique spirit through the eyes of local drag royalty, Miss Ellaneous and Marzi Panne.

“This is more than just a campaign for us,” said Marzi Panne.

“It’s a testament into self-acceptance and inclusivity, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Australia’s heartland.

“More than a photoshoot, it was a gathering of a diverse group of inspiring individuals who embody the spirit of being true to oneself, including voices from the LGBTQIA+ and First Nations communities.”

Miss Ellaneous said the campaign was a chance to show off “how fabulous” the NT can be.

“Sometimes people can just see a certain aspect – sport is really huge in the Northern Territory,” she said.

She said it was also great to see such a strong campaign launch during the 30th anniversary of The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.

It comes as the FabALICE Festival honours the glittering film in March.

Join Miss Ellaneous and Marzi as they sashay alongside Arrernte drag artist and producer Stone Turner, proud Narrunga and Ngarrindjeri man Josh Brown, trans Māori model Kye Hollingsworth, and Alice Springs nurse Rahni Armstrong. These are just a few of the vibrant faces illuminating the campaign, proving that the Australian outback embraces diversity with open arms.

“We are beyond excited and proud to share our Pride campaign and the uniqueness of Australia’s LGBTQIA+ community across the country,” said Edwina Moller, Bonds Brand Manager.

“It’s wonderful to partner with the Northern Territory and celebrate the Pride festivities in the lead-up to Mardi Gras.”

But the journey doesn’t end there. Tourism NT Executive Director Tony Quarmby said Tourism NT is proud to partner with Bonds in the lead-up to Pride season.

“Is there an Aussie road trip more iconic than through the Red Centre?, Quarmby added.

“We want to champion inclusivity, promote our epic outback adventures, and showcase that the Northern Territory is truly different in every sense.”
