Aussie pop royalty Kylie Minogue might have just spilled the tea on a highly anticipated Australian tour.

In a candid chat on Melbourne’s Fifi, Fev & Nick radio show, Minogue coyly confirmed what fans have been desperately hoping for.

When the Fox FM hosts asked about a potential tour Down Under, she excitedly blurted, “Uh… I want to say yes. Yes. The answer is yes! We’re just locking down details. Maybe I wasn’t meant to say that, but yes!”

This exciting revelation comes hot on the heels of Minogue’s triumphant performance as the headliner at the massive British Summer Time festival in London’s Hyde Park. The pop queen delivered a crowd-pleasing set, complete with a surprise appearance by fellow pop stars Tove Lo and Bebe Rexha as they belted out their brand new collaboration, “My Oh My.”

Backstage footage doing the rounds on social media shows Minogue being playfully carried to the stage by actors (and self-proclaimed Kylie devotees) Andrew Scott and Jonathan Bailey, proving the pop icon was clearly having a blast.

This news is music to the ears of Aussie Kylie fans who haven’t been treated to a full-fledged tour since the “Golden” jaunt in March 2019. The disappointment of the cancelled Splendour in the Grass festival, where Minogue was slated to headline, is still fresh in their minds.

Since the “Golden” tour, Minogue hasn’t slowed down. She’s blessed us with two chart-topping studio albums: the disco-infused “Disco” (2020) and the critically acclaimed “Tension” (2023). Notably, “Disco” marked the first Kylie album in years that wasn’t accompanied by a world tour due to the pandemic lockdowns.

“Tension” spawned the surprise global hit “Padam Padam” and saw Minogue embark on a trailblazing Las Vegas residency.

If a tour does eventuate, fans can likely expect a setlist similar to her electrifying British Summer Time show. This included iconic classics like “Better the Devil You Know” and “Love At First Sight” alongside sizzling live debuts from her latest albums.

With whispers of a tour swirling, one thing is certain: Kylie fever is gripping Australia once again. Here’s hoping the “Maybe I wasn’t meant to say that” turns into a resounding “Yes!” for all the LoLoLovers out there.
