New Zealand First Party has selected the Labour Party as Coalition Partner to form the next New Zealand Government.
This brings a close to the Nationals leading the country and the new Prime Minister will be Jacinda Ardern.
The Labour Party selected a strong LGBTI campaign position so it will be interesting to see if those policies survived the negotiations with New Zealand First.
During the election they declared their goal to end HIV in the country by 2025 as well as increasing access to sexual health services, testing, and early treatment; funding access to pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP); and supporting education, research, and community groups.
More to come.
