Sydney-based dance academy, and stars of the brilliant series Dance Life, Brent Street, have today performed in the Grand Final episode of America’s Got Talent (AGT) Season 19 with a breathtaking performance that has left judges and viewers in awe.
The 31-member group, previously fast-tracked to the Semifinals by Judge Howie Mandel’s Golden Buzzer, raised the bar in the semi-finals with their innovative choreography and flawless execution.
In their semifinal routine, Brent Street Dance took to the stage in two red pieces, with their 18-year-old lead dancer Zac de Gersigny dressed in white. They performed a high-energy dance to American rapper NF’s “The Search,” incorporating cube-shaped props and stunning visual effects. The judges were on their feet, with the audience roaring in approval.
Judge Simon Cowell, visibly impressed, commended the group’s passion and skill.
“I get excited when people care, and I can see how much this means to you,” he said.
“The Final would not be the Final without you.” Cowell even compared Brent Street Dance to AGT Season 17 winners, The Mayyas, praising their creativity and originality.
Heidi Klum, another judge, appreciated the troupe’s ability to reinvent their performances.
“It’s always special, it’s always memorable,” she remarked.

Viewers in the final have flooded Twitter with superlatives for their final performance. “Brent Street’s routine was perfection!!,” said one poster, “Brent Street get better and better each performance and its brand new routines too. I think they could possibly be the best dance group we’ve had on the show in years,” said another.
The performance was summed up by this Twitter follower, “I like Brent Street. I would pay to see them.”

Brent Street Dance’s advancement to the Finals is a significant achievement, placing them alongside a diverse range of talents, including dog act Roni Sagi & Rhythm, drone show pros Sky Elements, and stand-up comedian Learnmore Jonasi.
Zac de Gersigny, speaking on behalf of the group, expressed their gratitude.
“It means the world to us,” he told AGT host Terry Crews.
