The worst kept secret is now official with the release of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under cast being released ahead of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras in Sydney Australia tonight.
As shown on Gay Nation two weeks ago the cast includes three New Zealand queens, Anita Wigl’it, Elektra Shock and Kita Mean. to reflect the fact that the 8 part series was filmed entirely in Auckland.
The rest of the queens include Art Simone, Coco Jumbo, Etcetera Etcetera, Jojo Zaho, Karen from Finance, Maxi Shield and Scarlet Adams.
The queens have started announcing they have made it on the cast on Saturday afternoon Australian time with fans flooding their Instagrams with congratulations.

Filming began in late January for the first season of the series will be shown in Australia on Stan, in New Zealand on TVNZ One and across the globe through the World of Wonder Network of stations.
