Australian Idol alumni Casey Donovan and RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under star Maxi Shield, are helping Mini support Sydney WorldPride 2023.
In a landmark initiative, Mini has partnered with Sydney WorldPride 2023 to launch the ‘Big Love Story’ campaign, uniting the LGBTQIA+ community with messages of connection and individuality.
The ‘Big Love Story’ invites members of the Australian and New Zealand community to share their meaningful stories on Instagram tagging #biglovestory and tagging @miniaustralia.
Casey and Maxi will be front and centre, sharing their own ‘Big Love’ stories and participating in various events such as Mardi Gras Fair Day and the official Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade, which is set to take place on the iconic Oxford Street this year.
“I’m incredibly proud to showcase Australia and its thriving community on a global stage,” said Donovan.
“Mini’s ‘Big Love Story’ will bring people from all over the world together to celebrate their individuality and embrace everything Sydney WorldPride stands for.”
“Sydney WorldPride is an opportunity for Australians to join with their global family and celebrate what the Pride community is all about,” Shield added.
“It’s great to join the Mini team to continue amplifying these messages of ‘Big Love’ and encourage everyone to embrace ‘love is love’.”
