Janjep Carlos from the Philippines has won Mr Gay World 2019 following the finale held at the Cape Town City Hall last night.
Janjep was favoured to win after he grabbed early challenge victories for the written test and national costume while also polling well in the cooking challenge.
Second place went to Spain’s Francisco Alvarado while Hungary’s first ever competitor Oliver Pusztai finished in third.

Speaking after the Victory, Carlos as very emotional and very thankful for becoming the second inner from the Philippines after John Raspado grabbed the title in 07.
During the event held at the historic Cape Town City Hall, brand new pop boyband 5West performed their hit single pieces.
