Australian singer-songwriter Troye Sivan has reportedly split from his US model boyfriend Jacob Bixenman after the two have been separated due to the COVID-19 crisis.
As reported in the Daily Telegraph, music sources have suggested the South African born singer has parted ways with Bixenman in the past few months following Sivan’s decision to spend the lockdown in Australia with his family rather than in his Los Angeles home.
His boyfriend, Bixenman, who is an international model, has remained in LA and in a sign suggested by sources that is worrying, they have stopped commenting on each other’s Instagram posts.
The pair have been virtually absent from each other’s Instagram feeds — the last combined post with them pictured together dates way back to November last year.

Sivan recently released the first single off his new album, Dream, which seems to be heavily weighted to the break-up feels.
The 25-year-old Perth-raised star opened up about heartbreak in his new psychedelic pop song Easy, as he begged somebody in the lyrics ‘please don’t leave me’.
‘I’ve never felt this way before a release,’ Troye told streaming service Spotify on Thursday.
He added: ‘I’m uncomfortable and feel a bit squeamish, but I know that I needed to write this song.’
In speaking to Rolling Stone Australia, Troye described the album as ‘a story that’s still unfolding’
Sivan has had a quiet 2020 after a busy 2019 where he featured in a number of publicity shoots and interviews as well as embarking on a worldwide tour.
Sivan and Bixenman became the ultimate gay “It-couple” when they went public with their relationship in August 2018, and are regular paparazzi fodder around LA, where they share a house.
Representatives for Sivan’s label EMI declined to comment to The Daily Telegraph on rumours of a split.
