The winner of Gay Nation’s Four Night Hawaii escape said he is interested in linking up his trip with the 2019 Honolulu Pride Festival to take full advantage of his prize from Hawaiian Airlines and the Queen Kapi’olani Hotel.
Jeff Norton from Darwin in Australia’s Northern Territory was the first entry drawn in the competition and couldn’t believe he managed to win.
“I am even more excited at the prospect of this Hawaiian adventure than I was when I entered the comp and imagined what it might be like if I actually won!,” Jeff explained to Gay Nation.
“I am even thinking of tieing my trip into pride festival in 2019 although I better hit the gym if I’m gonna unveil my swimmers at the pool party next year.”
Hawaii is one of the most gay-friendly places on Earth and in their 90th year, Hawaiian Airlines offered up return flights for two for a Gay Nation reader to experience their hospitality and the amazing experiences that Hawaii has to offer.
Our winner Jeff said he was excited about flying Hawaiian Airlines for the first time.
“I haven’t flown with Hawaiian Airlines before, so that in itself will be a part of the holiday journey to experience their service,” said Jeff.
“As I will be flying from Darwin and have those extra miles to fly I might even consider upgrading at a really reasonable cost to premium seating with extra comfort that Hawaiian Airlines offer with five inches extra room and a few extra comforts for my flights.”
Located at the edge of Waikiki Beach with sweeping views of Diamond Head, the four nights of excitement will begin at the newly enhanced Queen Kapi’olani Hotel which brings back to life the Golden Age of Waikiki with a modern/vintage twist.
Jeff Norton has travelled lots in the past but he is really looking forward the Hawaiin hospitality.
“I’m looking forward to getting laid on arrival in Honolulu and then exploring Waikiki Beach and surrounds in a true tropical paradise.
“I have friends and work colleagues who have been to Hawaii before and I have heard the restaurants and cafes are amazing and shopping is pretty good, not to mention the islands tours and the beaches.”
