Mr Gay Pride Australia 2018, former MKR star and The Gay Chef Jordan Bruno is creating a pop-up restaurant during Auckland Pride that everyone is welcome to enjoy.
Along with his Mama Anna the newly crowned Mr Gay Pride Australia will create a delicious three-course meal called Dining Out this coming Friday 16 February.
Anna and Jordan Bruno are the much-loved mother and son duo from the popular TV cooking show My Kitchen Rules in Australia, where they consistently served up traditional Maltese and Italian cuisine.
Since then Anna has affectionately become known as Mama Anna and is adored as much as Jordan is.
They have carefully crafted a menu to showcase their culinary skills to tantalise your tastebuds along with a night to remember.
Hosted in Heaven Scent’s relaxing New York style loft space overlooking St Patrick’s Square, the night will be magical from the moment you step upstairs.
Speaking with Eikon about this exciting event, Jordan said it is the perfect way to get involved with Auckland Pride Festival following his ambassador work with Gay Ski Week QT over the past few years.
“I’m really excited to be heading to Auckland and hosting my first International pop up restaurant, I love New Zealand, and really wanted to attend Auckland pride, so I was stoked we managed to plan this event as part of the Pride celebrations of the week,” Jordan explained.
“Mama and I will be dishing up three of our favourite dishes! We will be there talking and entertaining everyone too so it should be an incredible evening.
“I’m really trying to get as many people there as possible, even trying to twist Mr Gay NZ’s hand too.”
Tickets to the dinner will include a delicious Entree, Main and one of Mama Anna’s famous desserts!
A cash bar will be available for the purchase of wines on the night.
