A brand-new, kiwi-made, web series following the growing relationship between two guys after a casual hook-up leads to something more, needs public support to complete the planned 15 episode series.

Two Naked Gay Guys, created, directed, and produced by written by Conan McKegg, follows the story of Lucas and Dean as the pair attempt to navigate their feelings for each other and how that then has a rippling impact on the relationships of the friends and family around them.

The series examines themes of love, intimacy, honesty, sexuality, and relationships and challenges the questions of when does a relationship truly start? and when does a relationship truly end?

With fifteen episodes planned the team behind Two Naked Gay Guys, are now seeking the funding and support of the community in order to make the series a reality.

Thanks to seed funding from the Emerging Artists Trust the team has been able to shoot the first four episodes and fully produce episode one.

“The $8500(NZD) we’re asking for is the remainder we need to complete production of the three episodes we have shot,” McKegg explains on their Kickstarter page.

“But that’s just the beginning. An average episode of Two Naked Gay Guys costs around $4000 to produce. For each $4000 we raise above the initial $8000 we will produce another episode.”
