Scrap-Wood used to Fashion Wooden Timepieces

WeWood is a new watch brand made of wood and is the brain-child of an Italian watch lover and two eco-smart entrepreneurs.

Using state-of-the-art Miyota movements and made mostly of scrap-wood to fashion the  wooden timepieces, the hybrid technology results in a unique, handsome, and earth-friendly watch.

In 2009 WeWood teamed up with tree-planting-partners ‘American Forests’ and ‘Trees For The Future’ with the goal of to help restore Mother Nature, one watch at a time.

By planting a tree for every WeWOOD timepiece purchased since 2011, WeWOOD has planted 300,000 trees with its partners  ‘American Forests’ and ‘Trees For The Future’ and has set challenging target of 300,000 trees for 2014 and and the goal of 1 million trees by the year 2020.
