Ending HIV
< 1 min read

An ambitious new campaign to end new HIV transmissions in New Zealand by the year 2025 is on the horizon, with plans to involve everyday New Zealanders.

The Ending HIV team’s new campaign aims to encourage those at most at risk of contracting HIV to get tested by showcasing stories and personal experiences of the HIV testing process.

Lisa Mirpuri, who is the Marketing, Communications and Fundraising Manager explains, “whether you are living with HIV or not, young or old, Māori, Pakeha, Pasifika or Asian … if you’ve got a story that can inspire others to get tested then we want to hear from you!”

With registrations for the new campaign closing on Friday the 14th of July 2017, individuals who are camera confident and want to play a part in ending new HIV infections in New Zealand are encouraged to register on the Ending HIV website.
